Now Faith

Now Faith…………………
October 05, 2007

Hebrew 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (KJV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (NIV)

Have you ever needed a NOW FAITH? I have been there over and over again, and I am sure you have been there also. Heb 11:1 talks of such faith. Faith that make you stands on the word of God and believe that your request from God will be granted no matter what the circumstance around you seems like. A now faith knows that God will honor your faith of knowing that you have what you say you have.

When Jesus came walking on the water it look impossible to peter, but he knew that this was Jesus, and with God all things are possible. Peter took hold of this NOW FAITH and ask the Lord to “bid me come unto thee on the water.” Matt 14:28 and the Lord said “Come. when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matt 14:29.
Mind blowing, WOW! Can you imaging this? Stepping out in faith believing God for the impossible, and making it possible in our life.
“30.But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31.And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
Peter took his eyes of the Lord to look at the storm around him and forgot whom he believed in. But Jesus reached out His hand and pulled him up. But Jesus reminded him of whom he was trusting in and reminded him of his faith and asked “wherefore didst thou doubt?”
Yes! Your circumstance may seem impossible, but God is the God of the impossible, and he will do what He said He will do. Step out in faith and see God do the same for you as He did Peter, and others.
Start speaking the word of God in your life. In Gen 1 God said, and there was, and he kept speaking for six days, and it was so. He did not let the darkness stop Him. He call the light out of darkness, dry land out of water, and He took woman out of man.
Day 1: God said, and it was so! Day 2: God said, and it was so! Day 3: God said, and it was so! …………….

Keep speaking to your situation, but speak the Word of God over it, and watch it change.
Your need a bill paid, love one need salvation, need healing? Start speaking to your need!!!
The word said!
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
Carol

God's Grace

God's Grace 0907
Acts 20:24 (NIV)"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."
God's grace
When we thinks of the word Grace we think of the person we know with the name GRACE. Grace is a wonderful gift from God. Grace is a gift God gives us every morning has He wake us up to see a new day. Think about it, with out the breath of God each day we would cease to exists.
Grace keeps our love ones and grace is with us all day long. That job you have! Yes grace gave it to you and help you keep it each day. God has you on His mind each day and His Mercy and Grace goes with you all day long. God is not limited! He is the one and only wise God, and He is more than enough for all your needs. God love us so much that each day He gives you a new gift and provides for all our needs. Next time you come across the word Grace, think about how much God loves you.
With love,
Carol

Divine grace refers to the sovereign favour of God — irrespective of actions ("deeds"), earned worth, or proven goodness.
More broadly, divine grace refers to God's gifts to humankind, including life, creation, and salvation. Grace is receiving a positive benefit that one does not deserve to receive.
Shared concepts of grace
The apostle Paul's letter to the Ephesians makes this teaching clear, "For by Grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (ESV).
It is by God's Grace (unmerited favor), therefore, that salvation is granted to man, on the condition that we put our faith (piðstiv, meaning belief or confidence, in other words, trust) in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that is, belief that Jesus is from God, Jesus is the Messiah (Messiðav, anointed one, also the Hebrew word for Christ) and that his death on the cross has the power to take away our sins, thus making us blameless in the sight of God.
Grace, then, is God's initiative and choice to make a path of salvation available for men. Grace is an attitude of God towards mankind by which He provides a benefit, without consideration of merit. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Faith in the fact that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4.
